The Inspiration:
Going back up to my roots in New Hampshire, we have a fair every Fall called the Deerfield Fair. It is still to this day, one of my all-time favorite Fall activities. Riding the ferris wheel, sinking your teeth into a caramel apple, loading your fried dough (aka funnel cake) with powdered sugar, and getting mud on your boots… there’s nothing better.
